Not
only does this film star Steven Seagal, it’s also directed by Mr. S., plus little
Stevie "sings" one of the tunes on the sound track. What are you doing
just sitting around reading this review? Get your butt down to the video/DVD
store now! Mr. Humble turns in one of his best performances as a brooding wildcatter
who works for an oil baron played by film-slut Michael Caine. Joan "they-all-can’t-be-The-Last-Emperor"
Chen is also onboard as an Eskimo! Mr. S. mumbles and smirks his way through
the Alaskan tundra while getting down with the natives. Evidently, little Stevie
has seen "A Man Called Horse", "Never Cry Wolf" and
"The Doors" and decided to steal and destroy what were basically good
ideas from all of those films. I don’t know about you but I sleep better at
night just knowing that Seagal is out there defending our environment from big
industry by snapping people’s arms in half then threatening to rape their polluting
asses while he's wearing expensive jackets made out of former wildlife. -- Tom
